Gubr is made by Origo Ventures, an operator-led company in Oslo. We don’t back companies from the sidelines — we run them. Gubr is the operating system we built to do it, now opened up to other operators.
Origo Ventures builds and runs a portfolio of companies. We live in the day-to-day of each one — the numbers, the goals, the weekly rhythm — and we believe most businesses are won or lost on operating discipline, not big ideas. That conviction is the whole reason gubr exists.
Running several companies on spreadsheets, scattered docs and gut feel breaks down fast — problems hide in whatever you didn’t look at that week. So we built one opinionated system to run every company the same disciplined way: strategy → 12-quarter plan → scorecard → process engines → playbooks, all connected. It worked well enough on our own companies that we decided to open it up.
The way we run companies is the way gubr works — nothing floats free, and the founder’s critical work gets systematically handed off.
